MOGALMARI VISIT

On 25th February 2007, a team of the Guild visited the Mogalmari village at DANTAN block, district of West Midnapur, West Bengal; which was excavated recently in 2006-07 by the Archaeological Department of Calcutta University under the command of the then Head of the Department, Late Dr. Asoke Dutta. The team visited the excavated area that indicated the lost civilisation of Hindu and Buddhist culture since years of B.C.

ARTIFACTS FOUND IN THE VILLAGE

The team also talked to the local people / villagers and they show us various artefacts kept under their custody founded during earthwork for foundation or excavation of Ponds.
